When is it time for congratulations?
Since announcing Fearless Journeys 2.0 last week, the most common response I’ve received—both directly and on social media—has been: “Congratulations!”
Since announcing Fearless Journeys 2.0 last week, the most common response I’ve received—both directly and on social media—has been: “Congratulations!”
I truly appreciate every kind word and message. But to be honest, I’ve found myself wondering: What exactly am I being congratulated for?
Launching a new version of my business? Sure. But for me, congratulations feels premature.
Four years ago, we had a big launch party. Friends showed up, and the congratulations poured in. This time, there’s no party—just a new chapter. And while I’m proud of where we’re headed, I don’t feel like the job is done. Not yet.
So I’ve been asking myself: When will it feel like time to celebrate?
The answer is simple: when more lives are changed.
And maybe... we’re already seeing that.
The first two people to officially join Fearless Journeys 2.0 are both single women. Neither waited for the crowd. They jumped in.
One called me and said, “I’ve loved being a part of Fearless Journeys.” She praised how we teach the entrepreneur’s path—practical, honest, no fluff.
“It’s real,” she said. “There’s so much authenticity behind what you’re doing. It’s relatable.” Because of what she’s learned, she’s now more intentional with her actions.
That’s the kind of feedback that matters.
And here’s more about her: She’s never even been on a Fearless Journeys trip. She’s an immigrant, working evenings toward her college degree. She’s led a nonprofit, active in her church, and just getting started in real estate development.
She also shared a struggle—finding a local mentor for her next career move. That’s something we’re now working on together.
The second woman who joined is a mid-career professional. She’s been on a few of our trips and said they’ve meant a lot to her, especially during some challenging years with family health issues. Fearless Journeys became a source of strength.
“I love the diverse personalities I’ve met and everything I’ve learned,” she told me.
She won’t be traveling internationally this year, but she’s committed to staying involved and continuing to grow through this community.
Okay—now I’ll accept the congratulations.
These stories are why I do this work. But I also know we’ve only scratched the surface.
One thing I’ve learned from a decade of working with entrepreneurs: they often work harder than anyone else—but they’re fueled by love for what they do.
That’s the spirit I’ve captured in my new book, The Heart of the American Dream. And it’s the same spirit that drives Fearless Journeys. This isn’t just a business. It’s a community. These aren’t just clients. They’re people I care deeply about. Friends. Dreamers. Doers.
And dreams? They’re just ideas until we take action. That’s my mission: to help everyone in Fearless Journeys not just dream, but do.
We’re building a community grounded in the 8 Pillars of Fearless Journeys—core values that guide each of us to the next level of our journey.
If you’re not yet part of Fearless Journeys 2.0, now’s a great time to learn more and apply.
